Before you start, check that
- You're 18 or older.
- Your Reddit account is at least 60 days old.
- You have at least 400 comment karma. That's not your total karma: tap your karma on your Reddit profile to see it.
- You've taken part on Reddit regularly for at least the past two months.
- Your account is in good standing: no karma-farming subreddits, and you haven't wiped large parts of your history.
- You won't ask for a loan or promise to pay money back. For loans, try r/borrow.
- You've read our subreddit rules. The moderators may ask you for proof of your situation.
Never delete a request
Givers see deleted requests as a red flag, so deleting one gets you banned: 14 days the first time, 60 days the second, then for good. Want a request taken down? Message the moderators instead.
Reddit tells us your username, account age and karma. We never see your password, and we can't post or send messages as you.
